KITESURF LESSONS
Learn to Kitesurf in Paros
Paros Kite is situated in a prime location for kitesurfing on the world-renowned kite beach of Pounda on Paros. Offering perfect wind conditions and stunning shallow waters, Pounda Beach is the ultimate spot for learning kitesurfing!
Our instructors are all certified by major global kitesurfing associations and our teaching philosophy is based on internationally recognised kitesurfing lesson guides. Choose from our range of learning levels/packages including: Beginner (Level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), Independent (Level 3), or Zero to Hero (all levels).
We offer semi-private lessons (2 students to 1 instructor), private lessons (1 student to 1 instructor), and VIP lessons (specially tailored for you). If you are uncertain which level is best for you or have any further inquiries, feel free to contact us for more details!

KITESURF RENTALS
Focus on your surfing, not your gear
Reluctant to transport your equipment due to an already full suitcase or concerns about excess baggage fees? Or perhaps you have a kite or board that isn’t the right size, and you’re eager to experiment with something new, like a surfboard or hydrofoil?
Worry no more! ParosKite has the perfect solution for you. We offer rental services for kites, boards, and complete gear sets, allowing you to customize your selection according to your needs. The possibilities are endless!
Choose from an array of brand new equipment provided by leading brands like Eleveight & North. We offer various options, including the ideal kite and board size to suit your specific requirements. Plus, you have the flexibility to adjust the kite size based on the day’s wind conditions.
Our extensive collection features a wide variety of kites including freestyle, all-around, freeride, and wave kites. We also have a diverse range of boards, including new school twin-tip, freeride, strapless surfboards, skim boards, and hydrofoils. At ParosKite, we prioritize equipment maintenance and frequent updates to guarantee the highest quality for our customers.
* Evaluation – 1 hour – € 65
** The insurance fee covers damages that are repairable. In case of complete destruction or loss of any gear, you will be asked and expected to pay for the full amount of the wholesale price of it.
* You can rent wetsuit, life Jacket, harness or helmet.
- Price for full package: 35€ daily

LESSONS & LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS
KITESURF LEVEL 1 – BEGINNER (4 HOURS)
Studying and understanding the winds and the suitable winds for kitesurfing
- Setting up the kite
- Controlling the kite
- Studying and understanding safety systems and its application in the real situation
- Studying and understanding international safety communication signs
- Launching and landing the kite in the safety zone
- Discovering of the Power Zone
KITESURF LEVEL 2 – INTERMEDIATE (4 HOURS)
- Discovering the dynamic traction of the kite
- Powering strokes & Body dragging with the kite
- Relaunch the kite in the water (learning how to make the kite fly again when it hits the water)
- Recovering the board
- Generating the speed
KITESURF LEVEL 3 – ADVANCED (5 HOURS)
- Positioning your feet on board
- Stabilizing your body and kite
- Generating gentle power for standing up on the board
- Generating constant power for standing up and riding
- Recovering your board in deep water
- Riding both sides and making first transitions
THINGS TO KNOW
KITE LESSONS – GENERAL
- All Semi-private courses are 2 persons with shared kite/board and one instructor.
- Every Level has one hour of theoretical content which is given on the beach or in the classroom, depending on the wind condition
- Non-show/delayed customers who have pre-booked and prepaid lesson time will forfeit their lesson.
- Breaks are not included in lessons. If a customer requests for a break, it will be counted as lesson time.
- In all prices, rescue service and the gear needed are included.
KITE LESSONS – PRICING
- 50% of the course fee is payable on arrival and the following 50% on completion of half of the course.
- On non-completion of courses, you will be charged the highest applied hourly rate for any course or lesson.
KITE LESSONS – REFUNDS
- On completion of 80% of the practical part of the course, no refund will be given.
- Cash payments will be refunded in cash minus the vat. Credit card payments cannot be refunded in cash and must be redeemed in goods from the store or in lesson vouchers.
